There are no set times MAG meetings happen. Different venues may have different meeting days and times. There may even possibly be two MAG meetings on at the same time in different places.

When does MAG meet?

The times and dates for MAG meetings have never been set in stone which reflects the busy lifestyles of it's members. The general trend is for the meetings to happen every couple of months as this gives the Amiga world time enough for interesting things to develop.

These days there is no need for a usergroup to physically meet very often as people have access to a wider community through the internet and are far more able to find out what is happening than ever before. Of course, this doesn't remove the need to meet other people in the local area for a chat etc so this is why MAG meetings are spaced out more over the year compared to more traditional groups.

The most appropriate day in the past had been Saturday and the most appropriate time had been the afternoon, but if there is enough interest these could be altered easily. If you cannot make it on those times or day or you struggle to make it to the locations on a regular basis why not consider establishing your own MAG meeting near where you live? read more
