MAG Bash @ Coventry! - SPONSORED BY AMIGAKIT

x

Its been a long time since the last big Amiga gathering and a great deal has happened in that time. Big Bash 3 held by the 3CAG was fairly well attended and gave us all the opportunity to meet new people, discuss the future and pick up a bargain at the same time!

MAG exhibited at BB3, so we collectively thought it was time to return the favour. Plans are being made to hold the first (and possibly annual) MAG bash (for want of a better name, answers on postcards please!)

We have opened offers to exhibitors in all parts of the Amiga world. We are fully expecting the following types of exhibitors to attend

Pledge your allegiance

When we offer places to exhibitors the first question they ask is "How many people will you have attending?" and my response has always had to be a muted one. "loads!" doesn't really cut it as far as business is concerned.

So I developed the idea of the Pledge system. On the Pledge page you can add your name to the list of people who are definitely attending and show the exhibitors just how popular the show is going to be. THE MORE PEOPLE PLEDGE, THE MORE EXHIBITORS WILL ATTEND. If you want to make this show something worth while attending do the decent thing and stick your name on the list.

IanO will be bringing along various Amiga systems to show off to anybody interested.

Our main sponsors and will be bringing a van load of goodies for all attendees to snaffle up without paying postage and packing!
Hyperion Evert has confirmed that he is coming over to visit all the UK Amigans at the show. We are hoping that he will bring with him a system to show off and perhaps run a seminar to talk about OS4.1
Loriano Designs TheDaddy is bringing with him all his remaining stock of white enclosures for Minimigs and taking more orders for the new black ones.
Colin Ward (Allegro for OS4) Colin has been working hard on Allegro games library for OS4 and is bringing a new version to show us all on the day with perhaps a few other surprises too..
Leicester Amiga Group LAG will be in attendance along with a bunch of their equipment and members.
Commodore Computer Club Shaun Bebbington (from Retromart fame) will be bringing along some of his retro equipment and possibly showing his 20MHz C64

Entrance fee :

The costs for setting up this event have already begun to mount and it would not be feasible to use personal or club funds to run it. So, we are asking for a small entrance fee from each attendee which hopefully will cover our costs.

Buy your ticket now and save on your entrance fee. Nothing says "I'll be there with bells on" to potential exhibitors like splashing a bit of cash before the event! For £2 you can secure your entrance to the bash and hopefully persuade those big companies to attend.
